Food is distributed on Thursdays only. 15 minute appointments are made over the phone. No application form is necessary

Most of our food is purchased at a greatly discounted price from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Typically, we can convert $1 donation into $14 worth of food products at the Food Bank. We also benefit from food distribution by Hidden Harvest. Caregiving receives food donations from churches, families and other community groups.

We provide our clients with quality food which should provide then with sufficient food for a week for the number of people in the family unit. Most of our food products are staples which come from the variety of food groups.

Guidelines:

A client may receive food five times in a year and once per month. Thursday Food Pantry Hours: 11:00AM - 2:15PM and 6:30 - 7:45PM. Clients will shop our shelves to determine what foods will best match their families needs.
